Strange sounds with huge light beams in the sky - Beaverlodge, Alberta

Are these UFO Spotlights? Strange Sounds in Sky accompanied by light beams or odd reflections Reflection off UFO? Strange light beam from above? Strange sounds in sky with strange sky lights in Alberta

On October 14th, 2011, vertical lighting from the sky was caught on video while taping strange sounds in the sky, in Beaverlodge, Alberta.

While you may be tempted to write them off as a reflection in the camera or a window, you can see by the photos above, and by watching the video closely that it cannot be just a reflection. And, the video was actually taken outdoors.

The sky beams are directly above specific buildings - and usually only over areas of light exterior cladding.

The light does have a reflective quality though, almost like it is reflecting off a giant mirror in the sky..

All of that is unusual enough, but the reason this video was originally taken was because of ongoing strange sounds from the sky.

The roaring sound often sounds like a jet passing, but it is continuous and is interspersed with very odd ringing sounds, similar to a bell, as well as a metal grating sound. And, the sound goes on for a very, very long time, with no planes in sight.

This is how Youtuber Supersamgordon described the video:

I didn't see these reflections or what ever they are while I was recording.
Just trying to catch some more of the sound (which is getting more freaky by the day)
Sun glare?? Camera flare?? Angle of the camera??
I don't have any idea. All I know is that I have been recorded these strange sounds in the sky almost everyday, for 6 weeks now, and I haven't seen anything like this yet.
What do you all think?

I think that there are three types of explanations...

One is that the vertical lighting is caused by a beam of light originating from the sky above - which lends itself to possible UFO activity.

The second is that the light is some type of reflection, where the light is being bounced off the sky for some unknown reason. This actually seems the most plausible at first, yet doesn't explain why the light is strictly vertical, and doesn't seem to account for the curvature of the earth in any way.

Also, if you look closely, you can see where the shadow of the sun falls, and it is quite low in the sky, causing a strong horizontal shadow.

Another is that this is a reflection somehow caused by the equipment or a window. While this is initially appealing, it doesn't explain why the light beams are not static. Because the light beams are directly connected to each building, it can't be due to something that originates with the viewer.

One odd thing is that the light beams were not visible to the viewer as it was happening, yet was caught on camera. This is a common observation among people who find that they have inadvertently caught a UFO on film that they did not remember seeing in person.

This is the only time I have seen this phenomenon in my UFO research.

Actor Russell Crowe films similar UFO light beams
by: Anonymous

In March 2013, actor Russell Crowe happened to record amazing light beams coming from the sky.

Just like the strange lights in the sky in Alberta, they are very broad, straight swaths of light. And, Russell Crowe says that the pictures were taken outside, so there is no chance of window glare.

The light beams are similar to the ones in Alberta, though he filmed his lights in New Zealand. Also, interestingly, his light also reflect strange red light as well.

Light "Poles" also seen in Japan - Aug 2012
by: Anonymous

Strong straight line beams of light, similar in shape to the ones seen Alberta have reportedly been seen by hundreds of people in Japan.

In this more recent report, the beams are much brighter, though similar in width to the Alberta catch.

continued below video...

According to ADG UK reports, the phenomenon also occurred before a catastrophic mid-air explosion in 1908, commonly known as the Tunguska Explosion.

Due to multiple UFO sightings just before the explosions, many people believe that the explosion was due to the destruction of an alien spacecraft. And one possible reason for the explosion is aerial warfare between competing aliens.

So, are the light beams coming from above or below?

If from above, could they be due to alien interaction or just "headlights" on a spaceship, searching the earth?

Another instance of light columns in Crop Circle photo
by: Anonymous

It turns out that this is not the first time that there has been a column of light associated with possible UFO activity.

I happened to come across two very interesting crop circles photos, taken in Clatford, Wiltshire, 1999. Wiltshire is also the site of a number of crop circle reports in 2012.

In the photos taken by witness Janet Ossebaard, you can clearly see a very similar phenomenon in the 2nd and 3rd crop circle photos here. - though the columns are not as perfectly straight, as in the Alberta images.

Still, the way the columns of light are shown on the photos is very, very similar.

Also, there is a very interesting video taken "using night goggles" of a beam of light possibly creating a crop circle - also in Wiltshire, UK.

You can see the strange beam of light here:

So perhaps capturing these beams of light in photos is another type of evidence of UFO presence...
