Green Light, St. Albert Alberta, 28-Mar-2017

(Alberta, Canada)

Driving home from Ellerslie on the Anthony Henday, north bound, I observed what appeared to be a green light, somewhere between emerald and lime in tone. I had just taken the Ray Gibbon ramp when I noticed the light. It was stationary, bright. As I came to a stop at the intersection to enter St. Albert, the light shot ahead, approximately north, northwest towards the city. It was fast, faster than a helicopter taking off from a standstill. I lost sight of it within maybe ten or fifteen seconds. This occurred at approximately 12:45, 1:00 in the morning.
