Strange sounds with huge light beams in the sky - Beaverlodge, Alberta
Are these UFO Spotlights?
Strange Sounds in Sky accompanied by light beams or odd reflections
Reflection off UFO? Strange light beam from above?
Strange sounds in sky with strange sky lights in Alberta
On October 14th, 2011, vertical lighting from the sky was caught on video while taping strange sounds in the sky, in Beaverlodge, Alberta.
While you may be tempted to write them off as a reflection in the camera or a window, you can see by the photos above, and by watching the video closely that it cannot be just a reflection. And, the video was actually taken outdoors.
The sky beams are directly above specific buildings - and usually only over areas of light exterior cladding.
The light does have a reflective quality though, almost like it is reflecting off a giant mirror in the sky..

All of that is unusual enough, but the reason this video was originally taken was because of ongoing strange sounds from the sky.
The roaring sound often sounds like a jet passing, but it is continuous and is interspersed with very odd ringing sounds, similar to a bell, as well as a metal grating sound. And, the sound goes on for a very, very long time, with no planes in sight.

This is how Youtuber Supersamgordon described the video:
I didn't see these reflections or what ever they are while I was recording. Just trying to catch some more of the sound (which is getting more freaky by the day) Sun glare?? Camera flare?? Angle of the camera?? I don't have any idea. All I know is that
I have been recorded these strange sounds in the sky almost everyday, for 6 weeks now, and I haven't seen anything like this yet. What do you all think?
I think that there are three types of explanations...
One is that the vertical lighting is caused by a beam of light originating from the sky above - which lends itself to possible UFO activity.
The second is that the light is some type of reflection, where the light is being bounced off the sky for some unknown reason. This actually seems the most plausible at first, yet doesn't explain why the light is strictly vertical, and doesn't seem to account for the curvature of the earth in any way.
Also, if you look closely, you can see where the shadow of the sun falls, and it is quite low in the sky, causing a strong horizontal shadow.
Another is that this is a reflection somehow caused by the equipment or a window. While this is initially appealing, it doesn't explain why the light beams are not static. Because the light beams are directly connected to each building, it can't be due to something that originates with the viewer.
One odd thing is that the light beams were not visible to the viewer as it was happening, yet was caught on camera. This is a common observation among people who find that they have inadvertently caught a UFO on film that they did not remember seeing in person.
This is the only time I have seen this phenomenon in my UFO research.
